In the morning we eat breakfast and then we took a cab to a beach called "Long Beach", it was a beautiful beach and it was very sunny too. We all took a sun-bath on the beach. After sometime we went to a bookstore because i like to read books. How we got to the bookstore: Since we lived so close to a bookstore on 461 Park Ave New york, NY 10022 we decided to walk.
Which book I bought: I bought a book called I am American (and So Can You!), I bought it because it seemed to be good The author's name was Stephen Colbert
After spending 2 days in New York we choose to go to the big city Miami in the state Florida in south of USA.
The city has many famous buildings: Like The luxury hotel called "Four Seasons Hotel & Tower", it is about 240 meters high and it was built 2003. Then we have a building called Wachovia Financial Center, it is about 233 meters. The building was chosen as one of the 50 best buildings in the United States. Many turistes visit Miami’s Historic Art Deco District. The Art Deco district presents more than its bold and unique architecture. The Wolfsonian, which is part of Florida International University, is located on Washington Avenue in the heart of the Art Deco district. Miami is not only famous for its amazing beaches and lively nightlife Miami is also known for its historic charm. From South Beach to North Miami historical sights are located throughout the city. In Downtown in Miami there is a tower called "The Freedom Tower" which is one of Miami’s most important historic landmarks. The Miami Freedom Tower was completed in 1924 and became home to the Miami Daily News. During the 1960’s the Freedom Tower was used as a reception center for Cuban refugees. In May, 2002 it was renovated and became a Cuban American Museum. In January 1926 another pricey landmark was created, The Biltmore. The Biltmore was a luxury hotel. The first day they served guests like Duke and Duchess of Windsor, Ginger Rogers, and even Al Capone. In the World War II the hotel became the Army Air Forces Regional Hospital. After being unoccupied for nearly ten years it reopened as a hotel in 1987.
When we came to Miami, we went to a hotel. When we came we all were kind of tired, so we all took a nap for a while. After some few hours we went to a museum and there i bought a souvenir. I bought a crocodile thermometer, it was really nice, actually i started to laugh when i first saw it. It was a crocodile standing and on the crocodile it hade a thermometer.
After visiting the museum we went to a safari called "Lion Country Safari". It was definitely a lot better than traditional zoos and far better than Sea World. The best thing was that it only took us one hour from Miami. But the main attraction is the drive through zoo with several animal display areas. So we rented a car and went for a drive through the safari, we saw all kind of animals, like: lions, turetles, llamas, some type of vulture, Impalas, Ostrich, Several Asiatic Water Buffalo, elephants, Huge Southern White Rhino, giraffes, alligators, all kind of birds, gemsboks. We took several photos. It was a great safari. I think these animals live here because it's good weather in Florida.
